Save your draft before testing Claude with a different connection. Use BratVPN's email trial to compare a short conversation, then the feature you need. Claude account access, usage limits and service capacity are separate checks. A VPN can also contribute to sign-in errors, so compare the result instead of assuming that every login problem needs a new route.
Download, verify your email, then activate
Start on the device you will actually use. Download the free BratVPN app from the downloads page, then use the email form on this page to request a trial. You can keep these instructions open in a browser throughout setup.
- 1Install BratVPN for iOS, Android, Windows or macOS from the official download link.
- 2Verify your email with the code from the latest BratVPN message. Save the separate VPN activation code shown on this page.
- 3Enter the VPN code in BratVPN, accept the system VPN permission and connect. The 24-hour trial starts at app activation; its allowance is 10 GB.
- 4Open the service and run the checks below before choosing paid access. Telegram is optional; email and website checkout work independently.
Check a complete response
Open Claude on the phone or computer where you normally work. Use a new, short question with no private information and wait for the complete answer. Compare the same kind of request on the same network before trying a longer task; loading your conversation history is only the first step.
If a response stops, check whether it continued in the existing conversation before submitting the request again. Save text that you have not sent. Reopening a tab can help compare sessions, but doing so repeatedly while a long request is running makes it harder to tell which attempt finished.
- 1Save your draft, connect BratVPN and reopen Claude.
- 2Ask a short harmless question and wait for the full response.
- 3If needed, compare one other network and note the exact error.
Uploads and long conversations
Test attachments only after a short text exchange works. Choose a small supported sample you are permitted to share. Identify whether the issue is selecting the file, transferring it or asking Claude about it. A filename appearing in the chat does not, by itself, confirm a successful response.
A message about length or usage is different from a connection waiting indefinitely. Follow the service's current advice for that message, such as reducing the material in a request. Keep original files and a private copy of your draft before changing the conversation or clearing browser data. Avoid sending confidential material just to diagnose connectivity.
Claude Code is another connection test
If you use Claude Code, test the official tool on the computer where it runs. A working phone conversation does not establish that a terminal or editor can connect. Record whether the failure occurs during sign-in, a request or a command in your project; the last step may be a local development problem.
Use the official installation and authentication guidance for your version. On a managed computer, ask your administrator about an explicit network or permission message. Do not disable security protections or paste credentials into a public report. Browser success and a failed coding task can coexist for reasons that a VPN subscription cannot fix.
Login, usage limits and service load
Claude's help distinguishes sign-in errors, usage warnings, capacity constraints and service incidents. Read the message before changing the connection. Its login guidance includes trying without a VPN, so a useful comparison can include your ordinary connection when the service and your account are eligible to use it.
BratVPN does not provide Claude Pro, Max or API credit, and it cannot reset usage limits or grant account permissions. Keep the platform, approximate time, affected feature and error wording for support. For account access and service billing, contact Claude support directly; leave prompts, uploaded files and authentication material out of a VPN report.
Connect the device running the service
On iPhone or iPad, install through App Store and allow the VPN configuration when iOS asks. On Android, use Google Play or the official Android download when offered on the downloads page. Enter your activation code in BratVPN, not in the other app's login field.
For Windows and macOS, use the official installer on the downloads page and connect on that computer. A VPN connection on your phone does not automatically protect a separate laptop, television or other device. Keep only the VPN profile you intend to test connected.
Keep the connection that works for you
After testing, open the purchase page to compare current plans and payment options. Save the activation code after payment is confirmed and follow the app instructions. You can also use the existing app or Telegram purchase options when convenient.
If a test fails, tell support the app version, device platform, approximate time, network type and the step that failed. Do not include passwords, email verification codes, VPN activation codes or private messages in a public report. BratVPN is independent of the services named here.
Frequently asked questions
Does a working Claude chat prove Claude Code will work?
No. Test the coding tool on its own computer and distinguish sign-in, model requests and local project commands.
Can a VPN reset Claude usage limits?
No. Usage allowances and account permissions belong to Claude. A network comparison helps diagnose connectivity, not add quota.
