VPN for Discord: check text, voice and screen sharing

Choose a server and channel you are already allowed to use. Reopen Discord after BratVPN connects, load a new message and join a voice channel with a willing contact. Keep the channel and contact the same during the first network comparison.

Inspect the microphone permission in system settings and the input selected in Discord. Check mute, deafen and the channel's own permissions. A different VPN route will not enable a muted microphone or grant a role that the server administrator has not assigned.

If voice drops while text keeps updating, compare Wi-Fi and mobile data or another normal network. Delay, brief interruptions and no audio at all are useful separate symptoms. Change one condition at a time so you can tell which comparison helped.
