VPN for Telegram: messages, media and calls

Keep the same device and network for your first comparison. After BratVPN reports a connection, reopen Telegram and send a message to a trusted contact or Saved Messages. Then open a photo that was not already downloaded. These steps separate a working text connection from a stalled transfer.

A call uses the microphone and a continuous connection. Check Telegram's microphone permission in system settings and confirm the intended audio output. For video, check camera permission separately. A muted microphone or an unavailable headset is not fixed by changing the VPN route.

If audio breaks up, compare the same call on Wi-Fi and mobile data. Reconnect BratVPN once and repeat, changing one thing at a time. If the problem occurs only on one network, share that difference with support; it is useful evidence without exposing the conversation.

Connect BratVPN on the computer running Telegram Desktop or Telegram Web. A phone that is already connected does not connect a separate computer. Update the official messenger and compare a newly loaded chat in the app and browser to narrow down session-specific problems.

For delayed notifications, inspect Telegram's notification permission, background activity and battery settings on the phone. Test while the app is open and again after returning to the home screen. Notification delivery and a foreground connection are related but different checks.

Enter your BratVPN activation code only in BratVPN. A Telegram sign-in code, account password or two-step verification password belongs to Telegram's own login flow. Neither BratVPN support nor a public chat needs those credentials.

On iPhone or iPad, install through App Store and allow the VPN configuration when iOS asks. On Android, use Google Play or the official Android download when offered on the downloads page. Enter your activation code in BratVPN, not in the other app's login field.

For Windows and macOS, use the official installer on the downloads page and connect on that computer. A VPN connection on your phone does not automatically protect a separate laptop, television or other device. Keep only the VPN profile you intend to test connected.

After testing, open the purchase page to compare current plans and payment options. Save the activation code after payment is confirmed and follow the app instructions. You can also use the existing app or Telegram purchase options when convenient.

If a test fails, tell support the app version, device platform, approximate time, network type and the step that failed. Do not include passwords, email verification codes, VPN activation codes or private messages in a public report. BratVPN is independent of the services named here.
